An engineer by profession with a Masters degree in Business Management C. Sivakumar took over Prabha Engineers in 1985 and within 6 years spearheaded the transformation of Prabha from a loss- making unit to a profitable one . He has been the key force in driving Prabha’s growth – a growth of over 100% during the last three years despite the slowdown in the economy.

C Sivakumar’s strong focus was on People in an era when technology was thought to be the key differentiator for success. His pioneering efforts to motivate and harness Prabha’s human resource capabilities in several ways paid huge dividends. He firmly believes that if skills are honed and employee involvement assured, success becomes part of the system itself.

His HR initiatives has been published in ‘The Business Line’ and many other articles have been featured in the Auto Monitor, The Business Standard and The Financial Express.

Under Sivakumar’s aegis:

• Has become the first SME vendor in the South to create another arm for Ashok Leyland and forge ahead with expansion in manufacturing capacity and in product line
